Our manners in the school cafeteria - Week 8
Nursery children are very energetic. However there is one place at school where they really have to learn to control their energy, is our school cafeteria. Unfortunately on many occasions there were many plates, spoons, trays and even food dropped on the floor. They are still learning to control their movements and to be aware of the space around them but they also need to learn some basic manners in the canteen. This is why one morning we went to the cafeteria and role played our good behavior.
So here is what the children are supposed to remember:
I must remember to queue in a line without pushing.
I should remember to say 'please' and 'thank you' when asking for food.
I should carry my tray with food carefully.
I should remain seated throughout the meal and eat neatly.
I should wait for the other children to finish their meal and not to run outside by myself.
