Opposites, Week 6
During week 6 Ms Tessa taught the vocabulary for opposites: big/small, long/short, hot/cold.
She started from reading a story about the Hare and the Tortoise and then used some real objects to introduce the opposites. The children looked at the big and small Teddy bears, long and short pencils, but they liked the dressing up game at the end the most. In turns the children put on all the jackets we had in class on top of each other and felt really hot. Then they took off the jackets and felt slightly cold.
Some children felt really sleepy and just refused to wake up for their lesson after nap time, so you can see some children lying around in the background.
